Guest Experience Platform (GXP)

The orchestration layer that makes your hospitality stack feel like one.

Zenda is an API-first hospitality middleware connecting your PMS, POS, dining, golf, mobile room keys, and loyalty tools into a single, branded guest experience — from initial booking to final checkout.

How Zenda fits

Three layers. One seamless experience.

LAYER 01

Your existing systems

PMS (Opera, Mews, Stayntouch), POS (Lightspeed, Toast), tee times, dining, payments, CRM, access control — everything you've invested in stays in place.

LAYER 02

Zenda orchestration

A secure API middleware and identity layer that unifies guest profiles, real-time availability, bookings, and payments across connected systems.

LAYER 03

Your branded experience

One white-label mobile app and web portal — under your brand, colors, and voice — empowering guests throughout their entire stay-and-play journey.

In practice, a guest's stay might touch all three layers without ever noticing: they check in from the app while Opera or Mews confirms the room is ready, book a tee time that updates live in Lightspeed Golf or GolfNow, order dinner through SevenRooms, and unlock the door with a mobile key issued by Salto or ASSA ABLOY — every charge landing on one folio settled through Stripe at checkout.

How it works

From discovery to launch in weeks.

How to deploy Zenda

A branded Zenda launch is typically measured in weeks, scoped during discovery.

  1. Discovery. Map the PMS, POS, golf, lock, loyalty and payment systems the property runs today and the guest journeys that matter most.
  2. Integration mapping. Connect Zenda to each system through its pre-built API adapter, then map fields and test against the property’s own instances.
  3. Branded build. Apply the property’s name, colors, typography and tone to the web and native apps so Zenda stays invisible to the guest.
  4. Pilot. Run a limited launch with real guests to validate booking, check-in, mobile keys and folio behavior end to end.
  5. Rollout. Open the app to all guests and hand over the dashboards; Shockoe keeps the connectors current as connected platforms change.

How Zenda integrates with your PMS

Zenda connects bidirectionally to your property management system without replacing it.

  1. Select the adapter. Choose the pre-built adapter for your PMS — Oracle Opera, Mews, Stayntouch or Cloudbeds — or the custom API path for another system.
  2. Map reservations and profiles. Match Zenda’s guest, reservation and folio model to your PMS fields so identities and stays line up.
  3. Test in your environment. Verify two-way sync of reservations, folio charges and profile updates against your own PMS instance.
  4. Go live. Switch the integration on; the PMS stays the system of record while Zenda delivers the guest-facing layer.
Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

No. Zenda is an orchestration layer that connects bidirectionally to the systems you already run — Oracle Opera, Mews, Stayntouch, Cloudbeds on the PMS side, Lightspeed, Toast and SevenRooms on POS and dining. Your operational systems of record stay in place; Zenda adds the unified guest-facing layer on top.

Through pre-built API adapters for common hospitality platforms plus a custom integration path for anything else. Integration work is field mapping and testing against your instance rather than building connectors from scratch, which is what keeps deployment measured in weeks.

Book and manage rooms, tee times, dining reservations and activities; check in and use a mobile key; view a single folio for the whole stay; and message the property. Every screen is branded to the property, not to Zenda.

Both. Zenda delivers branded native iOS and Android apps and a matching web experience from the same orchestration layer, so guest identity and itinerary stay consistent across channels.
